Electric pole chain saws are very easy to use, offer solid cutting capabilities and are the least expensive from all power pruners.
Here you can find our most recommended models with ratings, prices and reviews:
Our most recommended: Quality electric pruning saw – lightweight, inexpensive, very easy to handle and with enough power and adjustable head as a nice bonus.
Powerful + detachable saw: Also a popular tree pruner, with larger and detachable chainsaw – only quite top-heavy.
Light, long bar: Solid quality electric tree trimmer – lightweight, easy to operate, with decent reach, 10″ bar and enough power. Saw is not detachable.
Comparison with other models:

Electric pruners are perfect for an occasional use – even if you use them for example only twice per year, you have to do only a little maintenance, don’t have to mix fuel or worry about remaining charge in the battery. On the other hand, all of that comes with a price as you have to drag a power cord wherever you need to use them – which doesn’t make them practical for larger properties.
